00:00:00: Can you hear the parrots screeching? Well, then you probably went on a fascinating discovery tour at the free flying enclosure Aralandia and are on familiar terms with the many different exotic birds.

00:00:14: The feathered inhabitants as well as small deer can feel right at home in the gigantic birdcage and yet be very close to the visitors. Aralandia is also something like a partnership agency for endangered birds of the world. Here, they can find the love of their life and raise their little ones.

00:00:33: Only one of many examples of the contribution to the protection of species by this green zoo.

00:00:40: Next door, you can hear the lions roar if they are not snoozing in the sun: here, they live in the largest predator enclosure ever built in a German zoo. Due to the observation tower and surveillance rock, visitors can dream themselves right into this Savanna.

00:00:57: A few paces away is the home of Siberian tigers in their own valley. From the underwater tunnel you can watch the penguins diving. A short stroll further on you can see tapirs taking a bath through a glass wall which is another unique opportunity worldwide.

00:01:14: And, if you have also visited the top stars of the zoo, the elephants, you have still seen only a small part of one of Germany's most beautifully landscaped zoological gardens with its 3,500 animals. Did that make you curious? Then get off here - the wilderness is waiting for you just a few steps up the hill!
